Extra services in Lent, both on Sunday and mid week. Extra services at Christmas and Easter.

Home Communion is available for those unable to attend services.

We have a small Sunday School for children from the ages of 3 to 11.

For musical people, we have a small choir, always glad of new members and our church organist is very willing to help any aspiring organists.

The Church Hall is available for rent to any group looking for premises, e.g. a birthday party, Keep Fit groups. etc. Kitchen available. Tel. 01204 492923. Present uses:

Yoga: Monday afternoons apart from school holidays plus most Thursday evenings. Cost is £30 for up to 2 housrs.

The Thursday Group of St Margarets' Halliwell and Christ Church Heaton meet the last Thursday in the month at 10.45am in the hall. We aim is to discuss a wide variety of themes in Faith, by listening to a speaker, sharing in activities and any other ideas that might arise! We wish to encourage the fellowship and friendships that arise through sharing our similarities and differences. Everyone of all ages and from all churches or none are welcome.

The church makes a delightful setting for a wedding. We also cater for Baptisms and Funerals (for any family living in the Parish. Contact our new vicar Rev. As you can see from the photographs, the architecture of the church is uplifting and is an aid to worship.
